June figures have shown a slight decline in sales prices again in West Auckland. The market has dipped again in sales numbers as well as median prices. Winter is typically a slow time in real estate with reluctance to come to the market in the colder and wetter months and this year is no different in that regard. What is different is the number of buyers out there looking for a home! There is a definite lack of stock for purchasers to choose from, and this is creating an increase in visitors through open homes.
Winter actually the best time to put your property on the market. Why?
Less homes on the market = less competition with your property when you are selling
If you need to sell, now is the time to do it.
